We have great news to share! Opportunity Secure Data Destruction (OSDD), a division of Glenkirk, has joined forces with Paper Tiger Document Solutions to continue to provide the highest service in document shredding. Not only will Paper Tiger continue to provide document shredding and hard drive destruction, Paper Tiger also offers document storage. This joining of forces will allow Glenkirk to focus on its core mission of providing employment opportunities for developmentally disabled adults while Paper Tiger will be able to focus on providing document destruction and storage for Glenkirk’s customers.
Paper Tiger has been locally owned and operated for 23 years and is located in Gurnee, Illinois. Like OSDD, Paper Tiger believes in outstanding customer service with straight forward pricing; you won’t find any new fees or surcharges on your invoices. Paulette will be with us through the transition while Erick and Blanca will remain at Paper Tiger. The OSDD drivers will also be a part of Paper Tiger going forward.

OUR SERVICES
OFF-SITE DESTRUCTION
For regularly scheduled service or one off purges, OSDD will pick-up your material for destruction in our secure facility. We offer a range of locked containers to place in your facility for secure storage until removal. OSDD is NAID AAA certified for paper and non paper media destruction which includes HIPAA, FACTA and GLBA compliance. OSDD also meets the security standards of the federal government.
MOBILE SHREDDING
OSDD's mobile shredding truck is the answer for projects that require document destruction at your location as well as community and corporate events while still adhering to the highest security standards in the industry. Our shred truck is NAID AAA certified for mobile document shredding which includes HIPAA, FACTA and GLBA compliance.
HARD DRIVE DESTRUCTION
OSDD's purpose built hard drive shredding machine performs complete destruction of computer hard drives leaving no possibility of reconstruction or retrieval of data. OSDD will also remove the hard drives at no charge for any computer also being recycled or donated. OSDD is NAID AAA certified for hard drive destruction.
ELECTRONIC RECYCLING
OSDD offers a full suite of electronic recycling services. Computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, copiers, fax machines, wiring, and other material are accepted. Materials are safely recycled in the continental United States under R2 certification standards.
DROP OFF SERVICE
We also accept drop off of materials for destruction at our Gurnee facility Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. $0.10 per pound with a $35 minimum that covers the first 300 lbs.

OUR MISSION
OSDD is a 501(c)(3) social enterprise, creating career employment for people with disabilities. We endeavor to operate a customer service based business that allows our disabled employees to earn a fair wage and full time employment. Operating surplus from OSDD is re-invested across our family of organizations which provide housing, medical, employment, behavioral, and respite services for people with disabilities. OSDD is an Ability One contractor and an Illinois State Use Vendor. OSDD is an enterprise division of Glenkirk.
NAID CERTIFICATION
OSDD is AAA certified by the National Association for Information Destruction for plant based hard drive, paper, and non-paper media destruction as well as AAA certified for mobile shredding. This is the gold standard for security in our industry. OSDD, the only AAA certified 501(c)(3) in the Chicago area must pass annual audits and is subject to unannounced checks. NAID AAA certification includes but is not limited to HIPAA, FACTA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act compliance. OSDD also meets the security requirements of the federal government.

ENVIRONMENT
We are committed to doing our part as corporate citizens to protect the environment in which we all live. The majority of material OSDD destroys is recycled or re-purposed.
OSDD sends more than 5,000,000 pounds of paper per year to be re-pulped and processed into new products. This is roughly equivalent to 40,000 trees saved. Additionally, our electronic recycling services keep reusable and toxic materials out of landfills and waterways. Recyclables are processed to R2 certification entirely within the continental United States.
